Jesus loves you! He wants to give you a life full of joy and purpose. He wants you to accept Him!
Why do you need him?
1. Because you have a past.
You can't go back in life, but Jesus can. The bible says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). You don’t have to relive your past and your pain. He can walk those places of difficulty and failure for you. He can wipe your slate clean, and give you a life of transformation. You can start a new beginning because of Jesus.
2. Because you aren't perfect.
It’s evident that our lives will be filled with moments of imperfections, we all make mistakes except for Jesus. Let him polish you up and be the image He created you to be. He can take your imperfections and make them opportunities for massive growth in your life. Welcome Him as He prepares your heart through every mistake you make. God uses imperfect people. “For His power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
3. Because you need a friend.
Jesus knows the worst about you, but He loves you anyway. Why? Because He sees you not as you are but as you will be when He molds you. He is the friend you can count on no matter what, He will always be there for you. He is the realest friend you can have. #Nofakefriends
4. Because you are carnal minded.
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” (Romans 8:5-6) To live in our flesh is to fulfill our bodies (or the worlds) desires and as we know we have many desires! Some of those desires might feel good in the moment but have lingering consequences in our lives. Jesus constantly warns us about living in the flesh and sheds wisdom on the fruits of living in the Spirit. Living according to the Spirit is what's BEST for us.
5. Because He holds the future.
Who else are you going to trust? With Jesus you are safe today, tomorrow and for all eternity. If you’re looking for brighter days, grab your sunglasses because Jesus has a future that goes beyond your wildest imagination!
